Yussuf Aleem is a trusted attorney and law professor with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate complex legal challenges. A graduate of Harvard Law and Stanford Business Schools, he brings a multidisciplinary, strategic approach to legal problem-solving.
He advises healthcare organizations across the country—including hospitals, physician groups, clinical laboratories, diagnostic centers, rehabilitation facilities, and anesthesia providers—on litigation strategy and proactive risk management. His practice spans reimbursement disputes involving private and government payors, breach of contract, business torts, trade secrets, intellectual property, and employment-related claims. He has deep expertise in healthcare regulatory frameworks and laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, HIPAA, ERISA, and licensing requirements.
In addition to his defense-side work, Yussuf has secured multiple award-setting verdicts and settlements as a plaintiff-side litigator in medical negligence, product liability, and catastrophic injury cases. He also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution and is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Prior to founding the firm, he practiced at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Yussuf has held faculty appointments at NYU and Columbia Law Schools and teaches in Harvard Law School’s renowned Trial Advocacy Program. His work has been recognized by The National Law Journal as a Healthcare and Life Sciences Trailblazer, by Super Lawyers for Healthcare Law, and by the Daily Report as a Distinguished Leader in Georgia’s legal community. Counsel
Munish is an experienced litigator with a broad practice spanning state and federal courts, including matters involving intellectual property, class actions, securities, business torts, employment, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation. He has substantial experience in complex insurance regulatory frameworks and in resolving disputes involving managed care arrangements, coverage determinations, and contractual obligations. His deep knowledge of the insurance industry is built on years of legal practice and scholarly contribution, including co-authoring multiple chapters in leading insurance law treatises published by Lexis/Matthew Bender.
Before joining Aleem Law Group, Munish practiced at Barger & Wolen LLP (now Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP) and Michelman & Robinson LLP, where he handled complex commercial litigation for private equity funds, financial institutions, healthcare providers, and other sophisticated clients. Earlier in his career, he worked in Citigroup’s Legal and Compliance department and in Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Operations Group.

A UCLA School of Law graduate, Mohamad has spent the past decade litigating high-stakes cases in state and federal courts across the country, including in California, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation and trial advocacy. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” since 2018 and named a Top 40 Under 40 attorney by the National Trial Lawyers. His notable results include securing a $51.3 million jury verdict in a workplace liability case. He has also served as defense counsel in federal healthcare matters involving nearly half a billion dollars in claims.
